In order to do so correctly, there's a simple, yet effective concept which can be applied to any kind of workout available out there:

Personal training at Born to Succeed is made possible to you by BearFit Europe. They make use of the F.I.T.T.  and linear progression concepts.

F.I.T.T. (Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type):

 Frequency (how often, every week)

Intensity (how intensive is your training)

Time (how much time do you spend on it?)

Type (the focus of your workout: stamina, strength, speed, other goals?)

This concept guarantees the best possible results when applied to your own, personal situation. Once the F.I.T.T.-method has been tailored to your own lifestyle and goals, you are ready to go for it! Let's give you some insight about our approach to this method.

Frequency

How often you train, will define the final results. Some people think that the more often you workout, the better. This applies only in exceptional cases, mostly for professional athletes. For regular sporters, less is better. Find your drive and frequency which suits you the best. Let it fit your own personal lifestyle and goals. Remember that it's your time and nobody else's, so own your schedule and let your workouts fit in.

  Once per week

Personal training once a week will already give you noticeable results, as every workout will be adapted to your own capabilities. Normally, one hour is enough to give you a full-body workout. In some cases, it's possible to work out longer, if necessary. We strongly recommend you to workout or to keep moving independently at least once per week as well, for better results.

  Twice per week

Train twice per week with your personal trainer and within the shortest of time, you'll be achieving noticeable and even visible results.
That's due to the fact that you have enough time to rest inbetween workouts; however, just not enough to let your body go lazy again.
In other words, taking personal training twice per week might be the best option for you when it's affordable as well.

  Thrice per week

You love the thrill and the idea of reaching goals which you would otherwise not be able to reach on your own.
Whether it's for achieving specific sportive activities or when you want to recover really fast from an injury, this is the best option.
Keep in mind that working out three times a week with a personal trainer can be very intensive and demanding as well, both for your body and mind. Make sure to listen to your body at all times and take a break every once in a while.

Intensity

Every workout you follow with us, will be moniterd by your personal trainer (BearCoach) as you train. Whether you follow your own, personal program or you let your coach surprise you with a workout tailored to your needs, we make sure that the intesity seamlessly fits your needs and possibilities at that moment. The tools we use for this results are reliable maximum sport tests which will be taken beforehand. According to the results in either conditonal, flexibility or strength tests, we can follow your progress by continuously checking your heart rate and also non-verbal expressions. This approach challenges to your limit, without overworking it. That diminishes the risk of injuries to a minimum.

Time

The length of a workout will be defined by how often and intesive you workout. With personal training, the best and most logical option is to workout for 50 - 60 minutes. That gives you enough time to warm-up correctly, to cool-down and to stretch appropiately. All the exercises inbetween can be executed correctly and without any rush. Some people run short of time and prefer to workout for example, during 30 minutes. This is certainly possible. However, due to the time your trainer spends in your workout, the fee will remain the same. Incidently, you may want to workout for over an hour. This is possible and free of expenses when it takes place once in a whil, for specific purposes.

Type

How you train, will be stablished by the results from your performance tests. After analyzing the results, we'll set up a workout which fully suits your needs. You may sometimes want to stretch, go outdoors or do anything else other than a workout. No problem, we accomodate the session of the day according to your needs for as long as you keep on achieving a linear progression. This progression can be made measurable by following your progress during every session. We register your best personal results every so you can catch up again, right where you ended.

Linear progression

Last but not least, we use this term to make sure you make enough progress throughout a specific period of time. The span of time can take from a few weeks, up to even a full year. It's all according to your own personal goals. Regardlesss of how you see it, as life itself, progress is never linear (one straight line). There are obstacles to be overcome, unexpected situations to be dealt with and sometimes it just takes character to achieve that which you want. Anyhow, we're there to help you flatten that (upwards) line as much as possible. Even though there may be 'off-days', remain focused on the final goal and one way or the other, it will pretty soon be within reach. As my dad used to say,

"No peaks can ever be achieved, without crossing the valleys first."
